Wholegrain spelled bread with oats

Ingredients

  • 250 grams of spelled flour
  • 250 grams fine oats
  • Circa 20g plant based yellow egg alternative (Tip: Mung bean)
  • Circa 0,5 liter Happea Original
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 pack yeast (dry)

Sesame, linseed and herbs as you wish

Method

  1. Mix everything well together in a bowl
  2. Let it rest for 1 hour (Cover with kitchen towel)
  3. Mix it well one more time and put it into a pre-greased baking pan. Tip: Replace grease with baking paper 
  4. Let it rest inside the baking pan for an other 30 minutes (Covered with kitchen towel)
  5. Pre-heat oven on 200 degrees (Upper- and lower heat)
  6. Put a jar of water into the preheated oven
  7. Bake the bread in oven for 45-55 minutes
  8. After taking out from oven, let it cool down for at least 10 minutes
